September of
2007 marked a huge milestone for PKR.com, as they earned a
record total of 1 million active members playing their site.
This month will mark another huge success for the casino site,
as they are projected to total 1.5 million users.
The site has a distinct reason for their booming success;
their 3-D graphics work well with an attractive, user-friendly
gaming system. Gamblers are able to customize their characters
and may interact directly with other players. The technology
allowing communication in real time is growing more and more
popular as tracking systems are revealing as many as 10,000
players gambling simultaneously. The appeal of interacting
with one another as they do so is great.
Three dimensional is not the only way that PKR is trying to
stand out from the competition. They’ve recently launched and
innovative advertising campaign that incorporated national
television spots. The channels include both mainstream
terrestrial and cable channels like Five, E4, MTV, Channel 4
and Dave. It definitely seems to be getting the word out to
potential new clients effectively.
“PKR attracts a hugely diverse audience,” said PKR's Marketing
Director Simon Prodger. “I am extremely delighted with the
success we have so far achieved and hope that PKR continues to
expand and grow throughout 2008. PKR is a revolutionary new
concept in online poker that aims to change both the way that
online poker is played and perceived.”
PKR boasts some of the greatest developers in video games and
the poker industry, resulting in remarkable 3D graphics and an
unusually addictive game system. Innovation is one of the key
parts to PKR’s success, as they continually strive to separate
themselves to what everyone else does, everyone else has. The
result? The most advanced simulated poker available on the
web. PKR is fantastically young for all their triumphs-
created in 2005 by President Jez San- a European entrepreneur
known for his technological ingenuity. He was also the first
recipient of an O.B.E for services to the computer games
industry. |
