PokerListings.com and Full Tilt Poker have joined together to
bring forth a new freeroll series advertising $180K in “all
expenses paid” prize packages and cash payoutf of the 2008
World Series of Poker.
Beginning February 24th, 2008 PokerListing players will have
the opportunity for 12 exclusive $15 exclusive freerolls.
Players can enlist at Full Tilt through a PokerListings.com
link. The winner will walk away with a $12,500 package
including the buy-in for WSOP 2008 Main Event in addition to
travel and accommodation.
This could be huge for those who believe, and there are few
who don’t, that the WSOP is the end all be all of the Poker
World. Camilla Sundell, press secretary for PokerListings.com
has the following to say about the new freeroll: “The WSOP is,
and likely always will be, the pinnacle of the poker year.
It's virtually every player's dream to sit at the felt in the
most storied tournament in poker history, and with just under
$200,000 in prize packages this year at Full Tilt alone, we're
fulfilling that dream for more players than ever.”
Gamblers need 300 Full Tilt Poker points in order to be
eligible to enter any of the 12 freerolls. In addition to the
prize packages, $2,500 will also be distributed to winners in
each of the freerolls.
Sundell enthused at the prospect of attending the WSOP: “If
you're a poker player,” adds Sundell, “being in the middle of
the action at the Main Event - seeing the legendary Doyle
Brunson hold court, watching the fear creep in to a player's
eyes when Phil Ivey sits down next to him - is the best place
on the planet you could possibly be.”
There are two other bonus deals at Full Tilt and
PokerListings.com as well, designed for those who want to
play, but perhaps not necessarily because they have their
heart set on WSOP. There are $12,500 WPT “Winner’s Choice”
freerolls, and weekly $3,000 cash freerolls. The 300
eligibility points must have been earned at Full Tilt in the
past month.
